I am been feeling very frazzled, stressed, and tired this week, so today's improvisation is movement therapy. I felt so much better afterwards! Sometimes moving helps me let go in a way that words, meditation, and sleep can not.

Outside on the deck of our apartment complex. Nick is the camera man again. I see a lot of habitual movement coming out of this improvisation, which I'm finding very frustrating right now. I like the idea of doing this again with 3 other dancers- each getting their own quarter of the box. With the start of the new school year it has been almost a month since I last video taped an improvisation. I have been taking a lot of baths lately and have enjoyed moving in the tub. Today's improvisation is in the bathtub, filmed by my lovely husband, Nick. I don't feel I took risks during this improvisation- so you may see another one here soon. |
